TestBird Establishes Their Second Mobile App Testing Lab, Introducing Testing Services into Hong Kong
Chengdu, China – December 23, 2015 – As TestBird continues to grow globally, our need to accommodate more developers has expanded. TestBird, the leading mobile game cloud testing service has opened a new mobile game testing lab outside of China and into Hong Kong. The move included over 100 new devices available for the testing lab as well access to services not available in China.
“We have had issues in the past with developers using our system for testing apps outside China due to the need of Facebook and Google implementation in their game,” Stated CTO Delphi Deng. “These services aren’t accessible in mainland China. So we knew that to continue our growth, we would need to include our lab testing outside of China. Allowing a lab in Hong Kong gains us to stay local and flexible enough to better improve our customer’s experience.”
The new Hong Kong lab, sits in the city’s industrial area of Kwai Tsing, centrally located in the city. 85% of the current phones in the lab are from markets outside China, to allow more customers in China the opportunity to test their games compatibility for foreign audience.
“With so much competition within China, many are starting to search elsewhere for revenue and see new opportunities in other regions of Asia and America,” states Global Marketing Director, Luke Stapley. “We are looking to help them in their testing needs by adding additional testing labs that serve the global audience. We also are happy with the move as the added phones brings more compatibility for our customers not wanting to enter the market and test on phones that are only common in their country.”
The Hong Kong lab is currently open and available for testing for any mobile game and app developer interested. The lab in TestBird’s headquarters currently holds over 2,500 mobile devices with many devices secured for mainland China and worldwide usage.
